Marolo Barolo 9 Years Grappa is produced from Nebbiolo pomace for Barolo, distilled and aged in small oak barrels for 9 years. With an extremely clear amber color, this grappa is remarkably smooth, even at 50% ABV. Its aromatic profile is extraordinarily broad and complex, with a predominance of fruity notes, revealing an exceptional variety and completeness: from dried fruit to cooked and canned fruit, all the way to prunes and raisins. This blend is complemented by a floral aroma that leans decisively towards honey. Another distinctive feature, given its lengthy aging, is the spicy notes, dominated by the woody notes of the barrique, which give the distillate aromas of cinnamon, tobacco, and licorice, with a vanilla undertone.
