Louis Roederer Vintage Rosé Brut Champagne is made with approximately 65% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay, and a 20% proportion of wines vinified in wooden barrels. The Rosé Vintage cuvée is aged on the lees for an average of four years, with an additional rest period of at least six months after disgorgement to perfect its maturity. The fruity aromas of wild red berries fade into floral notes, citrus zest, sweetness, and spices, while hints of dried fruit and cocoa recall the maturation in oak. Rich and fleshy, the Rosé Vintage enhances the ripeness of the fruit. With its luminous effervescence and the initial sensation of freshness it provides, it opens gently on almost exotic notes, on the typically mineral texture of Chardonnay.
