Louis Roederer's Cristal Rosé Champagne was created in 1974, a hundred years after the creation of Cristal. Jean-Claude Rouzaud created the Cristal Rosé cuvée by selecting old Pinot Noir vines located in the finest terroirs of the Grand Cru d'Aÿ, now farmed biodynamically. Drawing exquisite minerality from the unique limestone soil of this terroir, these grapes are known for achieving extraordinary ripeness in great vintages, combined with crystalline acidity.

Bright, pale pink in color. Very fine and persistent bubbles.

Louis Roederer's Cristal Rosé Champagne was created in 1974, a hundred years after the creation of Cristal. Jean-Claude Rouzaud created the Cristal Rosé cuvée by selecting old Pinot Noir vines located in the finest Grand Cru d'Aÿ terroirs, now farmed biodynamically. Drawing exquisite minerality from the unique limestone soil of this area, these grapes are known for achieving extraordinary ripeness in great vintages, combined with crystalline acidity. Made with approximately 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay, 20% of which are wines vinified in oak barrels, Cristal Rosé is made using the saignée method after cold maceration. It is aged for an average of six years in the cellar.
