Strega Liqueur is among the most famous Italian liqueurs, unique and unmistakable for its flavor, thanks to the exclusive use of natural ingredients. The production process begins with the milling of around 70 herbs and spices, characterized by particular aromatic properties, imported from all over the world and selected with great skill. Among them we can mention: Ceylon cinnamon, Florentine Iris, juniper from the Italian Apennines, and Sannio mint, which grows wild along the rivers of the region. Its characteristic yellow color comes from the addition of precious saffron to the distillate of aromatic herbs. Strega liqueur is aged for a long time in oak vats in order to assimilate an expressive breadth and elegance of bouquet as an expression of many different aromas, giving rise to a liqueur obtained by distillation of the aromatic component, with an alcohol content of 40% vol. Only after this maturation process is completed is the liqueur bottled and distributed worldwide. According to the popular legend of the witches of Benevento, over two thousand witches, considered the most beautiful, gathered at night in the vast esplanade of the ''Magic Nose'' to dance the Sabbath, creating a magic potion that united forever the couples who drank it.
