Rum Prohibido Solera is refined in barrels previously used to age sweet passito wines. A 12-year stay in these barrels, using the solera method, yields a product characterized by the sweet notes of the wood and the aromatic legacy of the dried grapes. This Mexican rum, which became famous in Spain in the 18th century, is easy to drink, thanks to a sweet and silky entry that leads to a bittersweet and spicy finish.
