Description

Coppo's Barbera d'Asti 'Pomorosso' owes its name to the presence of a red apple tree at the top of the original vineyard. Undoubtedly the most prestigious Barbera produced by Coppo, it has played a key role in the rebirth of this grape variety. Pomorosso, produced only in high-quality vintages, comes from soils of marine sedimentary origin, characterized by a strong mineral content that gives the wine great finesse, minerality, and longevity.
