Mersault Le Tesson Fichet is made with 100% Chardonnay grapes from the vineyard of the same name. Situated on a magnificent plot, a constant slope from top to bottom with a depth of 40-50 cm, facing east on lava subsoil, this site is one of the best positioned in the Meursault villages. It is a continuation of the premier cru subzones, which slope northward and on the same contour lines as the finest Meursault wines. Halfway up the slope, it sits on a well-balanced soil of clay and limestone, with few stones.
