How to taste it
Nonino Grappa Tradizione 41% is a grappa obtained from the distillation of a selection of white and red grape pomace. It ferments purely in an anaerobic environment in stainless steel vats, followed immediately by distillation to prevent harmful secondary fermentations. The distillation is 100% artisanal, using batch distillation techniques, with the heads and tails removed, in special, exclusive copper steam stills renovated by Benito Nonino. The distillation process occurs very slowly to allow the volatile compounds responsible for the aromas to evaporate properly and then condense, preserving the precious organoleptic characteristics of the selected grape variety. After distillation, the grappa rests for a minimum of 6 months and up to 1 year in stainless steel vats to allow the various components to rebalance. At the end of this period, the grappa is ready for bottling.
