Chateau Lafite is made with a blend of 80 to 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5 to 20% Merlot, 1 to 5% Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. It has a deep color and an intense, delicate, subtle, and complex nose. The palate is very clean and direct on the attack, then develops volume and a well-rounded structure. Immensely powerful, with great length, density, and elegance.
