The Barbaresco 'Autinbej' Ca Del Baio is a Barbaresco as it was once made, combining particularly suitable vineyards, in this case at high altitude, to bring together in a single wine the best characteristics of the great Nebbiolo da Barbaresco. The first harvest was in 2014, a challenge in a year generally considered difficult. But compared to Piedmont and the rest of Italy, in 2014 the Barbaresco region was a special enclave, with very favorable climatic conditions. Traditional red vinification of the destemmed grapes, with maceration on the skins for 9 to 15 days in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The resulting wine ages for 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels. It then ages in bottle for at least 4 months before leaving the cellar.
