Mezcal Alipus San Juan Litro is a remarkable expression of traditional Mexican craftsmanship, produced by Los Danzantes distillery located in the San Juan del Río region of Oaxaca. The harvested agave is slowly cooked in underground, wood-fired stone ovens, giving the mezcal the smoky flavor so prized by connoisseurs. The agave is then ground and the extracted juice is fermented naturally in open wooden vats, before being distilled in copper stills over direct flame.
