Schiava Gschleier Girlan comes precisely from the homonymous subzone Gschleier which is definitely one of the top tourism destinations in the South Tyrolean viticulture; one of the things most striking of this area is the age of the vines ranges from 80 to 110 years, a unique wine growing in South Tyrol. The vineyards are located at a height of 450 m s.l.m., on limestone soils conformation, clay and gravel. The position and the slope exposure guarantee optimal insolation that gives birth to a full wine with a great aging potential. Schiava in question is one of a kind; elegant, full-bodied with smooth tannins that are accompanied by a wonderful flavor. Due to its characteristics this wine goes simply to the good food'. Best served at a temperature of 16-18 degrees.'
